What is a Giclee?
Simply put, a giclee is a fine art print created by using a specialized high resolution inkjet printer. A giclee an “art print” but giclee prints stand apart from normal art prints with their extremely high level of quality, longevity and value compared to a standard print. Pronounced “zhee-clay,” the word giclee is French for “to spray.” These are made to last, gallery-quality prints.
This literal interpretation of the word defines what the art of giclee printing is: reproducing art through a printer to exactly resemble an original piece. 
 
 
How could I not? "The apple of Eden" became way more important to me as time went on. Originally created as just another still life, the apple gained its power from the events that happened thereafter. After I was done, my mom suggested I should write a list with everything I wanted in a boat, it didn't matter how small, just to be specific, and write it down. Later that list would be perfectly describing Blue Eden, my ship I had bought. And it feels surreal to be captain of the boat that at one time was just an idea in my head. That amazed me how specific I got. Everything that blue is was on that list. And as if Blue was plucked out of that dream, I bought her the day I saw her with hearts in my eyes. And it's been that way ever since. That apple became the idea of the apple of knowledge, which provided me with the exact mental image, and the boat that became the replica of that. It still feels like I walked into a physical manifestation of my dream.
 
The apple was done on 9"×12" acid free archival quality paper, in coloured pencil.
