The Goat is an original 6x8 inch painting I did on a hot summer's day in 2023. Gallery quality gouche and ink painted on archival, acid-free paper. This piece was inspired by mountain goats, and how isolated they must be, but how they thrive in that condition. I was starting to feel the warmth of the process, and that feeling when you're looking over that landscape of life. I painted the goat to represent the viewer instead of painting a landscape from the goat's perspective. Framed and backed, ready to hang and be yours. There is only one copy of this painting in the world.
